Tyrel Dodson LB | MIA
Dolphins' Tyrel Dodson: Dealing with chest injury
Dodson (chest) was a non-participant in practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Dodson logged a 95 percent defensive snap share in Sunday's loss to Cincinnati, but it appears he also picked up a chest injury. Beginning the week as a DNP isn't a great sign, but it's unclear how serious the issue is. Dodson will likely need to return to practice in some capacity over the next two days to have a chance of suiting up against Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Andrew Ogletree TE | IND
Colts' Drew Ogletree: Listed as DNP to open Week 17 prep
The Colts listed Ogletree (neck) as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
Ogletree sustained a neck injury during the Colts' loss to the 49ers on Sunday. The injury prevented him from participating in Wednesday's walkthrough, and the fourth-year tight end will have two more opportunities to return to practice ahead of Sunday's home game against the Jaguars.

Payton Turner DE | DET
Cowboys' Payton Turner: Won't play Thursday
Turner (ribs) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Despite practicing in a limited fashion throughout the week, Turner won't make his 2025 debut in Thursday's divisional matchup. While the 2021 first-round pick remains on the injured reserve list, expect Dante Fowler and rookie Donovan Ezeiruaku to serve as the Cowboys' top defensive ends in Week 17.

Tyler Goodson RB | ATL
Colts' Tyler Goodson: Nursing ankle injury
Goodson (ankle) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
Goodson likely tweaked his ankle during the Colts' loss to the 49ers on Monday, when he turned three carries into nine yards and added 60 yards on two kickoff returns. He'll have two more opportunities to return to practice ahead of Sunday's AFC South tilt against Jacksonville.
-
Darren Waller TE | MIA
Dolphins' Darren Waller: DNP to begin week
Waller (groin/rest) didn't practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waller is listed on the practice report as being held out due to both the groin issue and rest, so it sounds like this is a maintenance day for him. Waller has been having his practice reps managed and has regularly been limited in practices, though Wednesday's DNP is a bit out of the norm. Still, there's currently nothing to suggest that the veteran tight end is in danger of missing Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay.

Caelen Carson DB | DAL
Cowboys' Caelen Carson: Questionable for Week 17
Carson (shoulder/hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
The second-year pro from Wake Forest was sidelined for the Week 16 loss to the Chargers due to a hamstring injury, but following a week of limited practice sessions, he's got a chance to suit up Thursday. If active for the Week 17 contest, Carson will likely operate as one of the Cowboys' top boundary cornerbacks.
-
Donovan Wilson DB | DAL
Cowboys' Donovan Wilson: Ready for Thursday
Wilson (hip) has no injury designation ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
The 30-year-old from Texas A&M upgraded from limited practice Tuesday to a full go Wednesday, suggesting he's moved past his hip injury in time to play in Thursday's divisional matchup. Now fully healthy, Wilson will likely start alongside Malik Hooker to form Dallas' top safety duo in Week 17.
-
Anthony Gould WR | IND
Colts' Anthony Gould: Estimated as DNP on Wednesday
Gould (foot) did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
Gould has missed the Colts' last two games due to a foot injury he sustained in Week 14 against the Jaguars. He has two more chances to return to practice and give himself a chance to play in Sunday's AFC South rematch against Jacksonville. Ameer Abdullah and Tyler Goodson (ankle) would likely continue to handle return duties on kickoffs and punts if Gould is unable to play Week 17.
-
Quinnen Williams DT | DAL
Cowboys' Quinnen Williams: Could play in Week 17
Williams (concussion) is listed as questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
The Alabama product practiced in a limited fashion throughout the week and must still clear concussion protocol in order to play in the Week 17 divisional matchup. Since being dealt from the Jets to the Cowboys in early November, Williams has recorded 16 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and one interception across five contests. If he's sidelined Thursday, expect Kenny Clark to have an expanded role on Dallas' defensive line.
-
Tyler Booker G | DAL
Cowboys' Tyler Booker: Iffy to play Thursday
Booker (ankle) has been deemed questionable to suit up against the Commanders on Christmas Day, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Booker also dealt with an ankle injury earlier this season, but it's unclear if his current issue is related. The rookie right guard was labeled as limited all three days of practice this week, so his status for Thursday seems to be up in the air. If Booker ends up being unable to play, Hakeem Adeniji may be asked to make a start on the offensive line.
