Gibbs (shoulder) returned to practice Thursday, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.

Gibbs didn't practice Wednesday, but his return Thursday comes as no surprise, as the Lions gave numerous veteran players a day off Wednesday. If Gibbs ultimately practices without limitations Thursday, that would eliminate any lingering doubts regarding the star running back's availability for Sunday's pivotal showdown against the NFC North rival Vikings.

Spears (knee) isn't practicing Thursday, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

Spears is sitting out a second consecutive practice, which doesn't bode well for his availability Sunday against the Bengals considering he was unable to suit up for the Week 7 loss to Cleveland. He'll likely need to practice in some capacity Friday to avoid being ruled out on Friday's injury report.

Tate (shoulder) won't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tate also sat out Wednesday due to this injury. The rookie fourth overall pick will have one more opportunity to practice in some capacity Friday ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals. If Tate sits out a game for the first time in his young career, Elic Ayomanor and Calvin Ridley (hip) could get more downfield targets while Wan'Dale Robinson runs his customary short and intermediate routes.

Gainwell (hip) returned to practice Thursday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Gainwell's participation level remains to be seen, but he has taken a step in the right direction after sitting out Wednesday's practice. The change-of-pace running back is coming off his heaviest workload of the season, as Gainwell handled 14 touches in the run-heavy Week 7 win over the Panthers after touching the ball no more than seven times in any of his first six games with the Buccaneers. Even if healthy, Gainwell is expected to cede the majority of backfield opportunities to Bucky Irving against the Falcons on Sunday, and Sean Tucker is also a candidate for usage.

Egbuka (concussion/foot) is wearing a regular jersey at Thursday's practice, suggesting he has been cleared for contact, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Egbuka was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, and it remains to be seen whether he can upgrade to full participation Thursday, but he looks to be trending in the right direction on his quest to clear concussion protocol prior to Sunday's game against the Falcons. The 2025 first-round pick sat out Tampa Bay's Week 7 win over the Panthers, so if Egbuka returns to action Sunday, he would be catching passes from Baker Mayfield in a game for the first time since Week 3.

Simmons was traded to the Bears on Thursday, along with a 2028 fifth-round pick, in exchange for first-round picks in 2027 and 2028, as well as a 2027 fourth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Chicago parted with a hefty package of draft picks to land the standout defensive tackle from the 1-6 Titans. Simmons had a career-high 11.0 sacks in 15 appearances last season and is slightly behind that pace this season, with 4.0 sacks through seven games. The four-time Pro Bowler has four passes defensed and 38.0 tackles (20 solo) this season. He'll likely make his Bears debut Monday against the Seahawks.

Chase (ankle) isn't believed to be dealing with a serious injury, and he's expected to suit up Sunday against the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Chase was listed as a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, but the injury isn't expected to keep him from taking the field Sunday. His participation in practice will still bear monitoring as the week unfolds. Chase has two chances left to resume practicing without limitations, which would put him in position to avoid a Week 8 injury designation.

The Packers expect Golden (shoulder/foot), who is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Panthers, to suit up, James Palmer of NFL on Prime Video reports.

Golden was given a questionable tag after being listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough following practice absences Monday and Tuesday. If the 2025 first-round pick gets the green light when game statuses are confirmed approximately 90 minutes prior to Thursday night's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, Golden would likely occupy his customary starting role across from Christian Watson.

Jackson (ankle) handled all of the first-team work during Wednesday's practice and is on track to play Sunday against the Bills, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter has yet to officially confirm that Jackson will put an end to his three-game absence and start Week 8, but all signs are pointing toward the two-time MVP playing in Buffalo. After returning to practice last week as a limited participant, Jackson practiced as a full participant Wednesday for the first time since sustaining a left high-ankle sprain during an Oct. 4 win over the Titans. Assuming all goes well for Jackson in practices Thursday and Friday, he should head into the weekend without an injury designation.

Dupree (neck) is off the Chargers' injury report ahead of the team's matchup versus the Rams on Sunday.

Dupree missed the team's Week 6 loss to the Chiefs due to a neck injury but is now healthy again. The 2015 first-round pick has compiled five tackles (two solo) across five outings this season and should continue to serve as a rotational defender against the Rams.
