Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Monday that Conklin (knee) is considered day-to-day, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Conklin exited the Browns' Week 11 loss to the Ravens late due to a knee injury, but it appears he avoided a serious issue. The veteran's practice participation throughout the week will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play in the Week 12 matchup against the Raiders.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Gabriel remains in the NFL's concussion protocol and that he will provide an update about the team's plans at quarterback Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Gabriel suffered a concussion during Cleveland's loss to the Steelers on Sunday, paving the way for Shedeur Sanders to take over in relief to begin the third quarter. Neither rookie was particularly effective, with Gabriel completing seven of 10 pass attempts for 68 yards without a touchdown or INT, and Sanders completing four of 16 pass attempts for 47 yards and an interception. If Gabriel isn't able to make some sort of tangible step in his recovery by the time the Browns return to practice Wednesday, the team may prepare as though Sanders will line up under center versus the Raiders in Week 12.

Olszewski didn't log a target or a touch in Sunday's Week 11 loss to Green Bay. He returned two punts for 17 yards.

Olszewski had been building up a role in the passing game over the previous two weeks and particularly last Sunday against Chicago, when he logged a season-high 38 percent offensive snap share. However, he was left out of the offensive game plan entire against the Packers, as all nine of his snaps came on special teams. The change in role probably was due in part to the Giants replacing former head coach Brian Daboll with Mike Kafka, who has taken over in an interim role. It's also worth noting that newcomer Isaiah Hodgins -- who was added to the 53-man roster Thursday -- took on a prominent role in the offense right away, leading New York with five catches and 57 yards while finishing with a 79 percent offensive snap share. Finally, Jalin Hyatt -- who had missed two of the team's previous three games (once as a healthy scratch) -- was given a chance to see more work, tallying a season-high 62 percent offensive snap share and recording a season-best 18 receiving yards. Add it all up and it looks like Olszewski is going to revert to his previous role as a return specialist, which led to him receiving just three offensive snaps over the first eight games of the campaign.

The Falcons placed Penix (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

Atlanta is still evaluating Penix to determine the severity of the left knee injury he sustained in Sunday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Panthers, but with his move to IR, the second-year quarterback will miss at least four games. Kirk Cousins is slated to take over as the Falcons' new starting signal-caller in Penix's absence. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network previously relayed that Penix aggravated an existing bone bruise and knee sprain while also suffering damage to the ACL in his left knee. During his college career, the 25-year-old underwent surgeries to address ACL tears in his right knee in 2018 and 2020, and he also suffered season-ending shoulder injuries in 2019 and 2021.

Whittington secured his only target for nine yards and returned two kicks for 48 yards during Sunday's 21-19 victory against the Seahawks.

The second-year pro saw the field often with Tutu Atwell (hamstring) still on IR and Xavier Smith (concussion) leaving the contest in the first half. The additional playing time didn't amount to anything significant on the stat sheet, although his lone catch was his first since Week 7. With the Buccaneers up next in Week 12, Whittington may be pressed into a bigger role if Smith is unable to clear the concussion protocol, as Atwell won't be available to return until the following week against the Panthers at the earliest. The offense still primarily runs through Puka Nacua and Davante Adams (16 targets out of 25 passing attempts), however, making it difficult to trust Whittington in fantasy lineups.

Cherelus tallied 10 total tackles (two solo) and one pass defended in Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Falcons.

With Trevin Wallace (shoulder) sidelined for the Week 11 win, Cherelus started in the Panthers' linebacker corps and made the most of his opportunity. He tied Christian Rozeboom for the second-most tackles on Carolina's defense, trailing Tre'von Moehrig's 11-stop performance. Wallace is currently labeled as week-to-week, so there's a chance Cherelus remains one of the Panthers' starting inside linebackers in the Week 12 matchup against the 49ers.

Rozeboom recorded 10 total tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Falcons.

Rozeboom tied Claudin Cherelus as Carolina's second-leading tackler and following Sunday's overtime win, he's now recorded double-digit stops in three of his last four games. The first-year Panther has tallied a team-leading 91 total tackles, one pass defended and one forced fumble over 11 appearances. He's expected to remain Carolina's top tackler and a viable IDP option in the Week 12 matchup against the 49ers.

Moehrig recorded 11 total tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Falcons.

The first-year Panther led Carolina's defense in total tackles and notched his second double-digit stop performance of the season in Week 11. Moehrig has appeared in all 11 of the Panthers' games this season, recording 73 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defended, with one interception. He's expected to remain one of the defense's top playmakers in the Week 12 matchup against the 49ers.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Lake will probably need "some time" to recover from the elbow injury he sustained in Sunday's 21-19 win over the Seahawks, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Though McVay didn't go into specifics regarding how much time Lake might miss, at the very least, the 26-year-old defensive back looks set to miss Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. During the Week 11 win over the Seahawks, Josh Wallace stepped in to replace the injured Lake as the Rams' slot corner. Through 10 games on the season, Lake has notched 61 tackles, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 10 pass breakups.

Mundt caught two of three targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 35-6 win against the Chargers.

The 30-year-old played 41 of 71 offensive snaps in the absences of Hunter Long (hip) and Brenton Strange (hip), while Quintin Morris led the way for Jacksonville's tight ends with 50 snaps. Mundt now has seven catches for 83 yards through 10 games this season and is likely to continue being sporadically involved in the Jaguars' aerial attack.
