Bailey has been traded to the Blackhawks in exchange for future considerations, reports the New York Islanders Twitter feed.
A second-round pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft also goes with Bailey, who has one more year on his deal with a $5 million cap hit. He had eight goals and 25 points in 64 games with the Isles in 2022-23, and he will provide depth for the Hawks.
