McLaughlin was reassigned to AHL Providence on Sunday, per CapFriendly.
McLaughlin served as a healthy scratch Saturday versus the Penguins after being recalled from Providence earlier in the day. He may continue to bounce between levels until the Bruins don't have a need for additional forward depth.
