  • Bruins' Riley Duran: Lands extension with Boston

Duran signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Bruins on Thursday.

Duran has spent the last two seasons in the organization, and he got a brief taste of NHL action during the 2024-25 campaign by making a pair of regular-season appearances for Boston. Across 72 regular-season games with AHL Providence last year, he recorded seven goals, 12 assists and 22 PIM. While he'll have flexibility to move between Providence and Boston on his two-way deal, it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most of his time in the minors during the 2026-27 season.

  • Bruins' Jiri Patera: Agrees to two-way contract

Patera signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Wednesday.

Patera has some NHL experience under his belt, but he's spent most of his career in the minors. He went 12-14-4 with a 2.63 GAA and .910 save percentage over 30 regular-season appearances with AHL Abbotsford last year. However, he could compete for the No. 2 role behind Jeremy Swayman with his new team.

  • Bruins' Brian Halonen: Signs with Boston

Halonen signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Wednesday.

Halonen made a career-high 15 regular-season appearances in the NHL with the Devils last year, but he still spent most of his time in the minors. Across his 51 regular-season appearances with AHL Utica, he racked up 20 goals, 14 assists and 28 PIM. He'll get a change of scenery for the 2026-27 campaign and could have an opportunity to compete for an NHL role with his new club.

  • Bruins' Maxence Guenette: Heading to Boston

Guenette signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Wednesday.

Guenette has spent the entirety of the past two seasons in the minors. Across 46 regular-season appearances with AHL Lehigh Valley last year, he logged two goals, 22 assists and 19 PIM. The 25-year-old will likely spend most of his time in the minors once again during the 2026-27 campaign, though he's made eight regular-season appearances in the NHL with Ottawa during his career.

  • Bruins' Brendan Gaunce: Signs with Boston

Gaunce signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Wednesday.

Gaunce has made double-digit appearances in the NHL in each of the last three regular seasons. Across 25 games with Columbus during the 2025-26 campaign, he recorded two goals, four assists, 44 hits, 21 blocked shots and 12 PIM while averaging 11:54 of ice time. While he could spend most of his time in the minors with his new club, Gaunce will likely be an option to provide depth if the Bruins deal with injuries at some point.

  • Bruins' Will Borgen: Shipped to Boston

Borgen was dealt to the Bruins from the Rangers on Wednesday in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a conditional 2028 third-round pick, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Borgen will add some toughness in a bottom-four role on the Bruins' blue line. He contributed five goals, 10 assists, 69 shots on net, 41 PIM, 111 hits and 99 blocked shots over 75 contests in his lone full campaign with the Rangers in 2025-26. The 29-year-old defenseman doesn't carry much fantasy appeal outside of banger leagues, as he's missed the 20-point mark in each of the last two years.

  • Bruins' Jordan Harris: Inks one-year deal

Harris signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Bruins on Wednesday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Harris had a goal and three points in four outings with AHL Providence as well as a goal and three points in eight appearances with Boston in the 2025-26 regular season. The 25-year-old blueliner will be in the mix for an Opening Night roster spot with Boston, but he will probably be a frequent healthy scratch if he does make the NHL team.

  • Bruins' Connor Clifton: Signs with Boston

Clifton signed a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the Bruins on Wednesday, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.

Clifton spent the first five years of his career in Boston before suiting up for the Sabres and Penguins over the past three seasons. He made 50 regular-season appearances with Pittsburgh during the 2025-26 campaign, recording two goals, four assists, 180 hits, 84 blocked shots and 53 PIM while averaging 16:46 of ice time.

  • Bruins' Kalle Vaisanen: Changing organizations

Vaisanen and a 2028 fourth-round pick were acquired by Boston from the Rangers on Wednesday in exchange for Joonas Korpisalo.

Vaisanen had three goals and four points in 51 regular-season outings with AHL Hartford in 2025-26. The 23-year-old is likely to start 2026-27 in the minors.

  • Bruins' Luke Cavallin: Inks two-way deal

Cavallin signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Wednesday.

Cavallin had a 2.35 GAA and a .917 save percentage in 34 outings with ECHL Maine as well as a 2.47 GAA and a .910 save percentage in eight appearances with AHL Providence during the 2025-26 regular season. The 25-year-old hasn't played in an NHL game, and he's expected to begin the upcoming campaign in the minors.

  • Bruins' Ivan Ivan: Inks two-way deal

Ivan signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Monday.

It did not take long for Ivan to come to terms on a contract agreement with his new club, as the forward was brought in from Colorado in exchange for Fabian Lysell on Saturday. Ivan will be a solid organizational depth piece for Boston, but he could see time with the Bruins if injuries arise or if he forces the team's hand with strong play in the minors.

  • Bruins' Ivan Ivan: Traded Saturday

Ivan was acquired by Boston from Colorado on Saturday in exchange for Fabian Lysell.

Ivan had an assist in nine regular-season appearances with the Avalanche in 2025-26. While he didn't play much at the top level in 2025-26, he got plenty of work with AHL Colorado, recording 11 goals, 26 points and 40 PIM in 66 regular-season games before contributing three goals and 15 points in 17 playoff appearances. The 23-year-old is likely to start the upcoming campaign in the minors.

  • Bruins' Nils Bartholdsson: Talented Swede picked by Boston

Bartholdsson was the 88th overall pick by Boston in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.

Bartholdsson is a difficult prospect to get a read on. He was one of the more effective scorers in the Swedish Jr. league this past season (23 goals, 42 points in 32 games), even earning a five-game stint with Rogle's main SHL club. Bartholdsson has an excellent wrist shot and plays fast, but at 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, his game lacks physicality, and he doesn't possess the elite offensive instincts you typically want to see from an undersized player. Bartholdsson is certainly a worthy dice roll at this stage of the draft given his track record of producing offensively, but it's going to be awhile before Boston sees any potential reward for its investment.

  • Bruins' Yuri Ivanov: Russian goalie off to Boston

Ivanov was the 56th overall pick by Boston in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.

The goaltending group in Boston's prospect pool is bleak, making Ivanov a reasonable selection at this stage of the draft. With a mid-September birthday, the Russian was eligible for the proceedings by just a handful of days. Ivanov split last season between a pair of teams in the Russian Jr. league, going 16-9-1 with a save percentage above .920 in both stops. Ranked at No. 10 among European goaltenders by NHL Central Scouting, Ivanov should continue to develop overseas for the next handful of seasons.

  • Bruins' JJ Peterka: Shipped to Boston in trade

Peterka was traded to Boston from Utah on Friday in exchange for the No. 23 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft and a 2028 first-round pick, per Pierre Lebrun of ESPN.

Peterka's lone year in Utah was a disappointment, though he appeared in all 82 regular-season games and potted 25 goals, which made it the third straight year he has reached that threshold. His assist totals were way down from the prior campaign, and he managed just 47 points as a result. Still, this seems like a good buy-low opportunity for the Bruins. Peterka won't be 25 years old until next January and has a history of relatively high-end production. His fantasy value should get a slight boost with the move, as Peterka could see more power-play time with his new team.

  • Bruins' Simon Zajicek: Inks two-way deal

Zajicek agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Tuesday.

Zajicek failed to break into the NHL last year, spending the entire year in the minors with AHL Providence, where he went 14-6-1 with a 2.44 GAA and a .915 save percentage. With both Jeremy Swayman and Joonas Korpisalo under contract next year, not to mention Michael DiPietro, the 24-year-old Zajicek will be hard-pressed to break into the NHL any time soon.

  • Bruins' Attilio Biasca: Inks two-year contract

Biasca signed a two-year, $1.96 million contract with Boston on Sunday.

Biasca registered 15 goals and 27 points in 45 regular-season appearances with HC Fribourg-Gotteron of Switzerland's National League in 2025-26 before adding three goals and one assist in 14 playoff outings. The 23-year-old also had two helpers and three points in 10 games for Switzerland during the 2026 IIHF World Championship. He will probably begin the 2026-27 campaign with AHL Providence.

  • Bruins' Navrin Mutter: Lands extension with Bruins

Mutter signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Bruins on Thursday.

Mutter was traded to Boston from Nashville in March, and he recorded a goal, 23 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 12 regular-season appearances with AHL Providence. He'll remain with the organization during the 2026-27 season, but it's unclear whether he'll be in the mix to make his NHL debut at some point next year.
