DeBrusk scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-1 preseason win over the Oilers.
DeBrusk's goal was an empty-netter, and he also helped out on a Carson Soucy tally in the first period. DeBrusk has earned three goals and an assist over three preseason appearances. The winger is poised to fill a top-six role consistently in 2024-25 after signing a seven-year contract with the Canucks in free agency. He should also receive ample power-play time, and given the quality of his potential linemates, DeBrusk could push to reach or exceed the 50-point mark for the second time in his career.
