Blueger scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.
Blueger has turned up the heat in April with three goals and three assists over six games. He was on the ice in preparation for the end of a Canucks power play when he cashed in at 17:00 of the third period. The 31-year-old center typically plays a mostly defensive role in the bottom six. He's earned nine goals, 17 points, 50 shots on net, 54 hits and a minus-9 rating over 32 appearances this season. Blueger last finished a season averaging more than 0.5 points per game in 2020-21 when he had 22 points in 43 contests for the Penguins.

Canucks' Marco Rossi: Lights lamp in shootout win
Rossi scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.
Rossi has two goals over his last four games after previously going eight contests without scoring. The 24-year-old center had a good stretch in the middle of March but has since cooled off despite retaining a top-six role. For the season, he's at 11 goals, 32 points, 62 shots on net, 44 hits and a minus-25 rating over 47 appearances between the Canucks and the Wild.

DeBrusk scored a power-play goal on eight shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.
DeBrusk netted his fourth power-play goal in the last six games. The winger has had a challenging season at times, but he still got to the 20-goal mark with this tally, with 17 of those snipes coming with a manpower advantage. He's at 39 points, 209 shots on net, 65 hits, 34 blocked shots and a minus-33 rating over 78 appearances on the year.

Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Earns shootout win in return
Lankinen stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.
The Canucks never led in regulation, but Lankinen made sure the game didn't get out of hand. He then stepped up in the shootout, allowing just one goal on five attempts to collect his second win in a row. Lankinen had been out for the last three games due to an illness and an upper-body injury, but he appears to be healthy to finish the season. The 30-year-old netminder has gone 10-26-5 with a 3.67 GAA and an .876 save percentage over 45 appearances. He'll likely cede the crease to Nikita Tolopilo for Sunday's road game in Anaheim, but Lankinen could make another start or two before the season ends.

He's at three goals, 18 points, 64 shots on net, 77 hits, 60 PIM, 133 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating over 78 appearances. Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Yields four goals in loss
Tolopilo allowed four goals on 26 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Kings.
The Kings held a 2-1 lead after the first period and never let the Canucks back in. Tolopilo continues to have a thankless job as the Canucks' starter in the absence of Kevin Lankinen (upper body). This was Tolopilo's sixth straight loss, and it's the fifth time in that span he's allowed at least four goals. He's at a 5-11-2 record with a 3.66 GAA and an .881 save percentage over 20 appearances. Tolopilo and Jiri Patera are likely to split the next two games, as the Canucks visit the Sharks on Saturday and the Ducks on Sunday.

Canucks' Evander Kane: Not traveling with team
Kane (upper body) didn't travel with the Canucks to California ahead of Thursday's game in Los Angeles, per Dan Murphy of Sportsnet.
Kane will probably also miss Saturday's match in San Jose and Sunday's tilt in Anaheim. The Canucks will then host the Kings on Tuesday, which might be Kane's next opportunity to return from the lingering injury that's kept him out of the lineup for three of Vancouver's past four games. He has 13 goals, 31 points, 92 PIM and 111 hits in 71 appearances in 2025-26.
