Brown provided the lone offense for the Devils with a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers.
The veteran winger spoiled Igor Shesterkin's shutout bid by tapping home a backhand in the first minute of the second period. Brown has scored a power-play goal in three of the last seven contests, including the past two. Through 14 games in March, he recorded an impressive six goals and 15 points.
