Devils' Anton Silayev: Inks entry-level deal
Silayev agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with New Jersey on Monday.
Silayev played in 61 regular-season games for the KHL's Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod this past season, recording one goal and two assists before adding two points in 10 playoff contests. Selected by the Devils with the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old blueliner doesn't offer enough offensive upside to be worth much in most fantasy formats -- he has yet to record more than 12 points in any of his three full KHL regular seasons.

Devils' Jonas Siegenthaler: Recovering from injury
Siegenthaler (undisclosed) won't participate in the 2026 IIHF World Championship because of an injury, Sam Kasan of the Devils' official site reports Monday.
Siegenthaler still plans on being around the Swiss team during the tournament, but he won't be an option to play due to a late-season injury. He finished the 2025-26 campaign with 16 assists, 60 shots on goal, 135 blocked shots and 92 hits across 82 appearances.

Devils' Lenni Hameenaho: Racks up three helpers
Hameenaho notched three assists in AHL Utica's 4-1 win over Providence on Friday.
Hameenaho returned to the AHL on Monday in an effort to help Utica's push for a playoff spot. However, the team is in danger of missing out on the postseason, which would bring Hameenaho's campaign to an end. He has 26 points in 36 AHL contests as well as eight points across 33 NHL outings.

Devils' Angus Crookshank: Two more goals for Comets
Crookshank scored twice in AHL Utica's 3-0 win over Belleville on Wednesday.
Crookshank has a pair of multi-goal games over his last three outings. He's now at 23 goals, 35 points, 149 shots on net and a minus-17 rating over 58 appearances this season. Crookshank is under contract for 2026-27, but his average level of offense in the AHL could make it tough for him to challenge for an NHL job.

Devils' Jakub Malek: Logs AHL shutout
Malek recorded a 25-save shutout in AHL Utica's 3-0 win over Belleville on Wednesday.
Malek picked up his third shutout of the season and improved to 13-14-3 with a 2.75 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 31 outings. He's won three of his last five contests for the Comets. Nico Daws and Malek figure to close out the season as Utica's goaltending duo.

Devils' Marc McLaughlin: Heads to AHL
McLaughlin was reassigned to AHL Utica on Wednesday.
McLaughlin had no points, a minus-2 rating, four hits and two blocks in seven outings with New Jersey in 2025-26. The Devils have completed their regular-season schedule and fell short of the playoffs. As a result, McLaughlin will finish the campaign with Utica, but the minor-league club also won't compete in the postseason. He has six goals and 13 points in 21 AHL outings with the Comets in 2025-26.

Devils' Topias Vilen: Sent back down
Vilen was assigned to AHL Utica on Wednesday.
Vilen played in the Devils' final two games of the 2025-26 regular season, making his NHL debut against Ottawa on Sunday. He didn't record a point but logged a blocked shot while averaging 15:28 of ice time. He has four goals and 24 points in 59 AHL appearances this campaign.

Devils' Nico Daws: Sent down to minors
Daws was reassigned to AHL Utica on Wednesday.
Daws played in just three games for the Devils this season, posting a 2-1-0 record, 2.62 GAA and .908 save percentage. With both Jacob Markstrom and Jake Allen still under contract next year, Daws' path to significant NHL opportunities seems blocked, though perhaps he can force his way into the conversation during training camp.

Devils' Nico Daws: Recovers after rough first period
Daws made 22 saves in a 4-0 loss to Boston on Tuesday.
Daws had a rough first period. The first goal got past him with just 53 seconds ticked off the clock, and the gates opened. Daws allowed all four goals in the first frame, including two in a 2:10 span at the end of the period. He found his feet after the first intermission, but his teammates didn't show up offensively to help bail him out. Daws delivered a 15-16-8 record with a 2.84 GAA and .891 save percentage in the AHL this season, and he's at the end of his current contract. He'll likely be renewed in his current role for 2026-27, as both Jacob Markstrom and Jake Allen are inked for several years.

Daws will guard the road goal against the Bruins on Tuesday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Daws is coming off a 27-save effort in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over Ottawa. He has a 2-0-0 record in two NHL appearances this season, stopping 57 of 61 shots. Boston ranks 11th in the league during the 2025-26 campaign with 3.26 goals per game.

Devils' Brian Halonen: Waived for AHL demotion
Halonen was placed on waivers Monday to be assigned to AHL Utica.
Halonen has one goal, one assist, seven shots on net and 28 hits in 15 NHL outings this season. He also has 19 goals and 32 points in 48 appearances at the AHL level in 2025-26.

Devils' Lenni Hameenaho: Sent down Monday
Hameenaho was assigned to AHL Utica on Monday.
Hameenaho has gotten his first taste of NHL action this year, recording two goals, six assists, 20 hits and 16 blocked shots while averaging 12:11 of ice time across 33 appearances. He'll head back to the minors just before the end of the regular season, and it's unclear whether he'll spend any more time with New Jersey this year.

Devils' Jack Hughes: Supplies two assists Sunday
Hughes registered two assists, one on the power play and the other shorthanded, while adding three shots on net and two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.
Hughes has six multi-point efforts over his last nine games, totaling seven goals and 11 assists in that span. The 24-year-old is up to 77 points (23 on the power play, two shorthanded), 226 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 60 appearances this season. Even with time lost due to injuries, this is the second-most productive campaign in his career, and it shows he could challenge for the 100-point mark if he can stay fully healthy in 2026-27.

Devils' Connor Brown: Tallies shorthanded goal
Brown scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.
Brown has chipped in consistent offense over the last month, earning seven goals and eight assists across his last 16 games. The 32-year-old's tally was his second shortie of the campaign. He's up to 18 goals, 43 points, 115 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 74 appearances this season. Brown has matched his career high in points from the 2019-20 campaign with the Senators, and he'll get one chance to set a new personal best Tuesday against the Bruins.

Devils' Dawson Mercer: Goal, assist in overtime win
Mercer scored a shorthanded goal on five shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.
Mercer set up Nico Hischier on the opening tally, and Hischier returned the favor when Mercer scored to tie the game at 3-3 in the third period. The 24-year-old Mercer has five goals and an assist over seven outings in April. He's up to 20 goals, 42 points, 156 shots on net, 47 blocked shots, 33 PIM, 32 hits and a minus-2 rating over 81 contests this season. Assuming he plays Tuesday in Boston, Mercer will complete his fifth straight campaign without missing a game to open his career.
