Viel picked up two assists Thursday in a 6-4 loss to Toronto.
It was Viel's first multi-point game in the NHL. The 29-year-old journeyman has five points (two goals, three assists) in 28 games this season. The points snapped a 13-game point drought. Viel is living out a dream, but there's no need to have him on a fantasy roster.
