Holtz was recalled from AHL Henderson on Wednesday.
Holtz is off to an impressive start in the minors, racking up four goals and four assists in five games for the Silver Knights. Holtz could simply be an emergency depth option ahead of Thursday's clash with the Blues, or his solid start in the minors could see him step into the lineup against St. Louis.
