McGregor signed a professional tryout agreement with Utah on Monday.
McGregor notched 13 points in 44 outings with AHL Tucson in 2023-24. The 25-year-old was a sixth-round pick by Toronto in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. McGregor has yet to appear in an NHL game.
