Nadeau was recalled from AHL Chicago on Tuesday, per Tim Hiebert of PuckPedia.
Nadeau's call-up will give the Hurricanes some help up front. It's not clear what the move means for the status of Taylor Hall (upper body), who left Tuesday's game versus the Capitals. If Hall misses time, Nadeau is poised to get a look in the lineup, potentially in a second-line role.
