Fensore was sent down to AHL Chicago on Friday.

Fensore played his first two NHL games this week as the Hurricanes rested many of their regulars ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Fensore had three hits and three blocked shots while averaging 19:04 of ice time. Fensore managed nine goals and 23 assists in 66 AHL games with the Wolves before his recall.
