Seeley was placed on waivers Monday to be assigned to AHL Chicago, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
Seeley had three goals and 10 points in 69 regular-season appearances with AHL Chicago in 2024-25. The 23-year-old defender hasn't made his NHL debut yet and will begin the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.
