Kuefler (upper body) was placed on the non-roster injured list Monday.
Kuefler was always going to be a long shot to make the Opening Night roster, and his injury during camp likely cemented him as an eventual minor-league player. Once the 23-year-old winger is given the all-clear, look for him to be reassigned to AHL Bridgeport.
