Kuefler was put on waivers Saturday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Hamilton.
Kuefler collected 10 goals, 25 points and 64 PIM in 67 regular-season outings for AHL Bridgeport in 2025-26. The 24-year-old forward hasn't had any NHL playing time yet, and he is poised to begin the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.
