Vasilevskiy will protect the net for Game 2 against the Penguins on Monday, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Vasilevskiy has not started in over a month and made just two relief appearances in that span. The Russian seemed unaffected by coming off the bench as he made 25 of a possible 26 saves in Game 1. During the regular season, the 21-year-old's performance was average at best, as he posted a 11-10-0 record, including one shutout, while logging a .910 save percentage. It will be a battle of youth in Game 2 as Vasilevskiy squares off against fellow 21-year-old Matt Murray.
