Pouliot signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Lightning on Monday.
Pouliot had nine goals, 46 points and 59 PIM in 64 regular-season contests with AHL Texas in 2023-24. He also appeared in five regular-season outings with Dallas, but he didn't record a point over that stretch. The 30-year-old is likely to start 2024-25 in the minors, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him summoned to the NHL at some point during the campaign as an injury replacement.
