Wennberg produced a secondary assist in Tuesday's 4-3 double-overtime win over Carolina in Game 2.
Wennberg helped out on Alexis Lafreniere's goal in the first period. It was the first point in six playoff contests this year for the 29-year-old Wennberg, who is relied upon for depth, not primary scoring. He's been serving as the Rangers' third-line center between Will Cuylle and Kaapo Kakko.
