Panarin notched a hat-trick, including two power-play goals, and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings.
Panarin can make a compelling argument that he's been the best player in the NHL throughout the first week-plus of the regular season from a performance perspective. The star left winger has recorded at least two points in each of his four appearances in 2024-25 and has 11 points already, with five goals and six assists. His efficiency has been through the roof as well, as he's scored those five goals on only 11 shots, although his 45.5 percent shot accuracy is unsustainable. Panarin will try to keep the multi-point streak alive when the Rangers take on the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
