Kreider scored two goals in a 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
His first stood as the winner. Kreider tapped in a cross-crease pass from Mika Zibanejad while on a delayed penalty in the second period. He also put in an empty-net goal. Kreider has five goals and 16 shots in five games this season. The 33-year-old has scored 127 regular-season goals since he turned 30. Kreider is one of those rare late bloomers whose skills will dry up fast someday, but there's no sign of that in his game now.
