Kreider scored two goals, one shorthanded, in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Penguins.
The veteran winger flipped home a rebound from the slot just before the end of the first period for his first tally of the season. Kreider then scooped up a loose puck in his own zone in the third and went the distance to beat Tristan Jarry for a shortie, giving the Rangers a 5-0 lead. Kreider fell just shy of his second career 40-goal campaign in 2023-24, but he's off to a quick start this season to try and reach that mark.
