Vesey is expected to be ready to start the season after experiencing a separated shoulder during New York's postseason run, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic on Tuesday.

Vesey registered 26 points in 80 regular-season contests in 2023-24 while filling a bottom-six role. The 31-year-old recorded three points in 12 postseason outings before separating his shoulder. The former Hobey Baker winner will likely slot in on New York's fourth line in 2024-25 while also chipping in as a penalty killer.
