Quick (upper body) is slated to serve as Igor Shesterkin's backup in Thursday's home game against the Canadiens, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Quick has been out of action since he was hurt in practice March 21. The 40-year-old goalie is still not likely to see a lot of playing time over the last two weeks of the season, as Shesterkin remains a workhorse between the pipes. Dylan Garand, who has been serving in the backup role for most of Quick's absence, could also see some action late in the campaign if he remains on the NHL roster.
