Miller was credited with two assists in Friday's 5-2 preseason loss to the Islanders. He also took two shots and blocked two shots.
Miller was heavily involved on offense early on and had a hand in the team's two goals, scored by Jonny Brodzinski and Adam Fox, but he couldn't escape New York's defensive struggles following the strong start. Miller is penciled as a top-unit defender for the 2024-25 season after notching 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) in 80 regular-season contests in 2023-24.
