Rempe was called up from AHL Hartford on Tuesday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.
As expected, Rempe is back in the NHL after a flurry of paper transactions helped the Rangers maximize their long-term injured reserve relief. The 22-year-old Rempe will compete for fourth-line minutes this year.
