Nash will miss the entirety of New York's training camp with a lower-body injury, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
Nash appeared in just one NHL game with the Rangers in 2023-24 -- he spent the rest of the season with AHL Hartford where he banked 27 points in 41 contests. The 35-year-old's slim chance at cracking New York's roster is likely diminished now that he's injured. The recovery time for Nash is currently unclear, but expect an update on his status as the season approaches.
