Ellis will defend the home crease against the Senators on Wednesday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
Ellis entered the win column for the first time this season during Saturday's road win over San Jose before getting the night off against the Ducks on Sunday. However, he'll return to the crease Wednesday in a relatively favorable matchup against the Senators, who are tied for 16th in the NHL with 3.13 goals per game this year.
