Yakemchuk was loaned to AHL Belleville on Monday.
Yakemchuk produced 17 goals and 49 points in 56 regular-season games for WHL Calgary in 2024-25. He will begin his professional career in the minors, but it wouldn't be surprising if he made his NHL debut at some point this campaign.
