Senators' Carter Yakemchuk: Sent down to AHL
Yakemchuk (concussion) was returned to AHL Belleville on Wednesday.
Yakemchuk was in the concussion protocol, but his demotion to the minors suggests that he has the green light to play again. In four NHL contests this season, the 20-year-old blueliner has tallied one goal on five shots, one assist and four blocks while averaging 14:32 of ice time.

Senators' Cameron Crotty: Earns first career point
Crotty logged an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
Crotty helped out on a Fabian Zetterlund tally in the third period. This was Crotty's first NHL point in his sixth career game over parts of three seasons. This year, he's added two shots on net, three blocked shots and two hits over four appearances with the Senators, filling in due to the team's numerous injuries on the blue line.

Senators' Drake Batherson: Sends two power-play assists
Batherson notched two power-play assists in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
Batherson's helpers came on goals 13 seconds apart in the third period. The 27-year-old winger has four goals and three assists over his last seven outings, with four of those seven points coming on the power play. Overall, he has been dynamic in a top-six role with 68 points (matching his career high), 160 shots on net, 117 hits and a minus-7 rating through 75 appearances. He's earned 27 of his points with the man advantage.

Senators' Shane Pinto: New career mark in goals
Pinto scored a short handed, empty-net goal Tuesday in a 6-2 win over the Lightning.
Pinto has three points, including two goals, in his last two games and three goals in his last four games. His goal Tuesday established a new career mark (22). Pinto's previous best came last season when he put up 21 goals and 16 assists. He's on a solid pace, but center is extremely deep, so you need to consider if you could find a fit for a pivot on a 50-plus point campaign.

Senators' Jordan Spence: New career mark in points
Spence scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-2 victory over the Lightning.
Spence ripped a wrist shot over Jonas Johansson's glove from the edge of the right circle that bounced off the back bar and careened down the ice. Spence set a new career high for points in a season with 29 (seven goals, 22 assists), which bested his previous high of 28 (2024-25). Since March 15, Spence has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 13 games.

Senators' Fabian Zetterlund: Snaps 11-game goal drought
Zetterlund scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Zetterlund has a modest 14 goals, 15 assists, 124 shots and 146 hits in 78 games this season. The goal snapped an 11-game snipe drought. Zetterlund's fantasy value is limited on the Sens' fourth line.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Solid play has team in wild card
Ullmark made 28 saves in a 6-2 win over the Lightning on Tuesday.
The game was tight into the midpoint of the third when the Sens broke it open. Ullmark has won two straight and three in his last four games. He has allowed just six goals in those three wins. Ullmark has taken a lot of heat for poor play this season, but he's gone 12-4-3 in 19 games since his return from a month-long personal leave from Dec. 28 to Jan. 25. Ullmark's save percentage this season (.887) is below the league average (.896), but his 2.82 GAA is actually better than the league average (2.88). Ottawa is now two points ahead of the Blue Jackets for the second playoff wild card from the Eastern Conference.

Tkachuk became the fourth Sens player in the past 10 years with multiple four-point games in a single season. He has two this year. The others? Tim Stutzle (twice; most: three games in 2022-23), Batherson (three games in 2021-22) and Erik Karlsson (two games in 2015-16). Senators' Linus Ullmark: Between pipes against Bolts
Ullmark will patrol the crease at home versus the Lightning on Tuesday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.
Ullmark will make his fifth straight appearance in the crease, having gone 2-2-0 with a 4.01 GAA and .854 save percentage across his prior four outings. With their spot in the postseason hanging in the balance, the 32-year-old netminder could see himself feature in each of the team's last five outings, including a back-to-back against the Islanders and Devils on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Senators' Jake Sanderson: Notches helper Sunday
Sanderson posted an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
This was Sanderson's second game back from an upper-body injury, which has been a huge boost to the Senators' blue line. He's back in a top-pairing role, as the team's other defensive injuries eliminated the chance he'd be eased back into action. Sanderson has 11 goals, 49 points, 138 shots on net, 121 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 64 outings this season and has a decent chance to earn his second straight 50-point campaign.

Senators' Ridly Greig: Logs pair of helpers
Greig registered two assists, three shots on goal, four hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Greig has picked up the pace with a goal and four assists over his last four outings. Prior to that stretch, he had logged just one goal over 10 games. The 23-year-old forward is up to 33 points this season -- one shy of matching his total from 78 regular-season contests a year ago. He's added 123 shots on net, 89 hits, 81 PIM, 50 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 72 appearances in a middle-six role.

Senators' Claude Giroux: Fills empty cage
Giroux scored an empty-net goal in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Giroux ended a six-game point drought with the tally to seal up this win. The 38-year-old forward remains listed on the Senators' top line, but he has functioned as a middle-six winger for the bulk of the season. He's at 13 goals, 45 points, 124 shots on net, 65 hits, 26 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-19 rating over 77 appearances, offering decent offense despite a slight decline from his 50-point effort in the 2024-25 regular season.

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Goal, assist in Sunday's win
Cozens scored a power-play goal on four shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Cozens has three goals and a helper over his last five outings. His tally Sunday was his first power-play point in a month. The 25-year-old center is up to 55 points (27 on the power play), 189 shots on net, 205 hits, 57 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 77 appearances. Cozens has offered quality offense and ample physicality in a second-line role throughout the campaign.

Senators' Shane Pinto: Two more points in win
Pinto scored a power-play goal on three shots, added an assist, logged two hits and blocked three shots in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Pinto has three points over three outings in April, a solid start to the month to bounce back from ending March on a four-game skid. The 25-year-old center has matched his career high in goals with 21, and his 42 points are also a personal best. He's added 148 shots on net, 87 hits, 48 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 67 appearances this season.

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Records goal, assist Sunday
Stutzle had an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Sttuzle continues to find ways to produce on offense for the Senators. The 24-year-old hasn't gone more than two games without cracking the scoresheet since a three-game stretch from Jan. 7-10. That elite consistency translates to him racking up 18 points (five goals, 13 helpers) in 20 games since the Olympic break. Stutzle should continue to find ample scoring opportunities due to his role as a top-six forward and power-play threat.
