Thomson notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Panthers.
Thomson missed two games due to a lower-body injury in March, but he's been back in the lineup for the last two contests. The 25-year-old blueliner is getting a chance to play because the Senators' defense is ravaged by injuries. Thomson's helper was his first since the 2021-22 campaign, when he logged five assists over 16 appearances. He's likely to remain in a third-pairing role for as long as he's in the lineup.
