The Senators waived Shaw on Sunday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
The move will send Shaw to AHL Belleville unless another team claims him off waivers. The fourth-line forward has recorded a goal and two assists in 16 games but loses his roster spot now that Drake Batherson (COVID-19) is about ready to return.
