Chabot scored a goal on five shots, added a power-play assist and blocked two shots in Monday's 8-7 overtime win over the Kings.
These were Chabot's first two points of the season. The defenseman was pressed into heavier minutes after Artem Zub (upper body) left the contest early, with Chabot closing out the day at 29:04 of ice time. The 27-year-old defenseman is no stranger to being on the ice frequently, but his minutes have decreased over the last three seasons with the emergence of Jake Sanderson, who has relegated Chabot to the second pairing and second power-play unit in 2024-25.
