Ennis scored his fifth goal of the season in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.
He was able to beat John Gibson midway through the first period to tie the score at 1-1, but it was the only offense the Senators could muster on the afternoon. Ennis is enjoying some success lately on Ottawa's top line with four goals and five points in the last four games, but on the season he has only 17 points through 33 contests.
