Ostapchuk was recalled from AHL Belleville on Monday.
Ostapchuk has 17 goals and 28 points in 66 minor-league contests this campaign. He has been credited with five shots on goal, six blocked shots and 11 hits in six outings with Ottawa this season. The 20-year-old forward has yet to pick up his first NHL point.
