Head coach Ryan Warsofsky said Monday that Vlasic (upper body) has resumed skating on his own and is considered week-to-week, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Vlasic has been sidelined since the start of training camp due to an upper-body injury, and it appears as though he'll miss the start of the 2024-25 regular season. It's not yet clear whether he'll require an IR stint to begin the year, but it's at least encouraging that he's been skating on his own ahead of Opening Night.
