Vlasic will miss the start of training camp with an upper-body injury.
Vlasic is entering his 19th season in the NHL -- all with San Jose. The veteran had six goals, six assists, 35 hits and 108 blocked shots in 57 games during the regular season in 2023-24. There is no word at this time as to whether or not he will be ready for the start of the regular season Oct. 10 versus St. Louis.
