Comeau was waived by the Stars on Thursday, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Comeau has been a regular in Dallas' lineup since the 2018-19 campaign, so this move comes as a surprise despite the fact he's only picked up one goal through six games this season. If Comeau isn't plucked off waivers by another team, he'll presumably report to AHL Texas.
