Benn scored a goal in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Islanders.
The Stars found the back of the net once in each period, and their captain netted his first goal of the campaign with a slap shot from close range after the Islanders lost the puck in their defensive zone. Benn has reached the 20-goal and 60-point marks in each of the last two seasons, and he figures to remain a productive player while featuring on both the third line and the first power-play unit.
