Duchene scored two goals, one on the power play and the other the game-winner, in Saturday's 4-1 victory over the Oilers.
The veteran center opened the scoring with only 26 seconds left in the second period, ripping a puck past Stuart Skinner from the top of the slot. Duchene then gave the Stars a 2-0 lead midway through the third by finishing a 2-on-1 rush with Mason Marchment. Duchene has had a strong start to the season, collecting three goals and five points in six games.
