Ryan O'Byrne: Retires from hockey
Ryan O'Byrne has announced his retirement from professional hockey after 10 years.O'Byrne has run the gamut with hockey, having played in six different leagues since his career began in 2001-02. The 32-year-old recorded 39 points and 369 PIM in 308 NHL games between the Canadiens, Avalanche and Maple Leafs, respectively. O'Byrne said that he plans to return to Cornell University to finish his degree.
