Ryan Vesce: Released from PTO
Ryan Vesce has been released from his professional tryout agreement by the Oilers on Wednesday.Vesce had not played in the NHL since the 2009-10 and was a long shot to make the Edmonton roster in the first place. It is possible that the winger secures a spot with another team or signs an AHL deal with the Bakersfield Condors, the Oilers affilaite. Considering very few, if any, fantasy owners would have had the 34-year-old in their lineups, this news is unlikely to cause too much consternation.

Oilers' Ryan Vesce: Returns to NHL for tryout
Ryan Vesce inked a professional tryout agreement with Edmonton on Monday.Vesce has not played in the NHL since the 2009-10 season in which he appeared in nine contests for San Jose. The 34-year-old has spent the last six years playing in Europe, primarily the KHL. During the 2015-16 campaign with Minsk Dynamo, the winger tallied 18 goals and 15 helpers in 40 contests, apparently enough to earn himself a spot in training camp, although he may still be a long shot to secure a roster spot.
