    John Scott: Retiring from hockey

John Scott announced his retirement Wednesday, The Players' Tribune reports.Scott became the center of the hockey world last season when fans voted him into the 2015-16 All-Star Game. As perhaps one of the last true enforcers in an ever-changing game, Scott racked up 544 PIM in 286 NHL contests. Along with his time in the sin bin, the winger snagged five goals and six assists while playing for seven different organizations. Undrafted out of Michigan Tech, the 34-year-old's career likely would have ended in obscurity if not for one shining moment that all started as a joke, but transformed into something amazing.
