James Wright was recalled by the New York Islanders on Monday.Wright received the call-up due to Ryan Pulock's move to the IR with an upper-body injury. Considering that Wright hasn't been on NHL ice in over two seasons, it would be very surprising if he was activated for any portion of New York's ongoing playoff campaign.

Isles Sign Wright To Two-Way Deal
Wright signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Thursday.Wright skated in the KHL last season, posting 19 points in 53 games for Zagreb Medvescak. He's previously appeared in 146 NHL games with the Jets and Lightning, but the Islanders seem to be viewing him strictly as a depth option for their AHL squad.
