Jacob Josefson: Returning to Sweden
Jacob Josefson will head home on a four-year deal with Djurgarden of the Swedish Hockey League, Sweden's AB Kvallstidningen Expressen reports.Josefson said, "It's where I want to be" after he logged 64 points (20 goals, 44 assists) through 315 NHL games, predominantly with the Devils but most recently in a Sabres jersey. New Jersey originally selected Josefson in the first round (20th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, but his overall numbers didn't match the lofty draft profile. He also dealt with a lower-body injury at the end of this season.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Considering move overseas
Jacob Josefson (lower body) may opt to return to his native Sweden next season, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.Josefson's decision will likely depend on what (if any) offers he receives from NHL clubs, as he will be a free agent July 1. The natural center was used sparingly by Buffalo, where he logged just 39 outings this year. The 27-year-old last played in the Swedish league in 2009-10 and played in 315 NHL games in the eight seasons since.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Week-to-week with lower-body injury
Jacob Josefson is week-to-week due to a lower-body issue.Josefson's injury will likely have a larger impact on the Buffalo Sabres than it does on most fantasy rosters. The 27-year-old pivot owns just four points (two goals, two assists) over 39 games this season and hasn't lived up to his 20th-overall billing from the 2009 NHL Entry Draft in his career. He can be considered out indefinitely until his timeline is updated again, and there is a possibility Josefson has already played the last game of his 2017-18 campaign with only a few weeks remaining in the regular season.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Back at it Thursday
Jacob Josefson (lower body) will return Thursday evening against the visiting Panthers, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.A versatile forward from Sweden, Josefson returns from a seven-game injury layoff. The 26-year-old hasn't lived up to expectations since the Devils originally called his name with the 20th overall pick in the 2009 draft, but then again, it's difficult for Josefson to do all that much with 11:22 of average ice time. He's added two goals on a career-high 12.5 shooting percentage to supplement another pair of helpers through 19 games this campaign.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Lands on IR
Jacob Josefson (lower body) is listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site. The Buffalo Sabres will play Thursday against the Blue Jackets before taking their league-mandated five-day break, so Josefson could end up only missing one contest due to his lower-body injury. Either way, the 26-year-old pivot's absence won't impact many fantasy lineups, as he's only notched two goals and four points in 19 games this campaign.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Considered day-to-day
Jacob Josefson (lower body) is day-to-day after exiting Tuesday's game versus Winnipeg early due to injury, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.Josefson has already been sidelined twice this season with significant injuries and while this latest one doesn't appear to be serious, fantasy owners will no doubt be disappointed he can't seem to stay on the ice. In his limited outings (19), the center has garnered a pair of goals, two helpers and 20 blocks. Benoit Pouliot figures to slot into the lineup if Josefson is unable to go against the Blue Jackets on Thursday.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Will be checked out Wednesday
Jacob Josefson has a lower-body injury and will be re-evaluated Wednesday. The Buffalo Sabres next game is Thursday against the Blue Jackets, so updates on Josefson's injury will likely come after Wednesday's morning skate. With just one other healthy forward, Benoit Pouliot, on the roster, don't be surprised if the Sabres call up an AHL player just in case.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Leaves with injury, won't return
Jacob Josefson left Tuesday's game against the Jets with an undisclosed injury and won't return, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.Josefson has already missed 24 games this season with an ankle injury, and he has just two goals and two assists in the 18 games he has suited up for. In a bottom-six role without power-play minutes, Josefson isn't much of a fantasy threat anyway. More details on Josefson's injury should be available after Tuesday's game, and his next chance to suit up will be Thursday against the Blue Jackets.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Held off scoresheet
Jacob Josefson failed to secure a point in his return from a nine-game injury absence in Tuesday's matchup with Boston.Considering Josefson's minutes were limited (11:06 of ice time), it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that he was missing on the scoresheet. The center did manage to chip in two blocks and a hit versus the Bruins. The 26-year-old has never reached the 15-point mark at any point during his career, so fantasy owners probably shouldn't be banking on an offensive explosion in his return.

Sabres' Jacob Josefson: Cleared to play Tuesday
Jacob Josefson (ankle) will suit up against the Bruins on Tuesday.Josefson will return to the lineup following a nine-game stint on the sidelines, his second significant absence of the season. As a result, the center has been limited to just nine games so far in which he has tallied one goal and one assist. If he can stay healthy, the Swede could still challenge for the 15-point threshold.
