Ruslan Fedotenko: Announces retirement
Ruslan Fedotenko announced his retirement from professional hockey Tuesday, James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail reports.Fedotenko last played in the majors back in 2012-13 with the Philadelphia Flyers. Over his career, the winger tallied 173 goals and 193 helpers in 863 games. The 37-year-old was able to lift the Stanley Cup twice during the span; first with the Lightning and then later with the Penguins.

Wild Ink Fedotenko To Two-Way Deal
Fedotenko signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.After spending 2013-14 in Russia, Fedotenko attempted to make a return to the NHL last season, but to no avail. The Wild did like want they saw from him in his 13 games at AHL Iowa to re-sign him, but with the parent club seemingly all set at forward, the 36-year-old is likely on tap for another season in the minors.
