Steve Ott will join the Blues as an assistant coach, effectively ending his playing career.After a 2016-17 campaign that saw him post just three goals and four assists in 53 games, Ott has decided to end his playing days and turn his attention to patrolling the back of the St. Louis bench. The 34-year-old ends his NHL career with 109 goals and 179 assists after suiting up for 848 games, but he will mostly be remembered for his physical play, for which he accrued 1,555 penalty minutes.
