Justin Florek: Taking talents over to Germany
Justin Florek signed a contract with Iserlohn of Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) on Friday, TSN reports.The 27-year-old power forward was originally drafted by the Bruins with a fifth-round pick in 2010, but he only made his way into four NHL games back in 2013-14. It's not uncommon for a player to head overseas if North American hockey doesn't bear fruit.

Islanders Sign Florek
Florek signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Thursday.Florek, who recorded 35 points in 73 games for AHL Providence this past season, will serve as a depth forward with the Isles and if he does see NHL action this coming season, it would presumably be in a bottom-six role.
